solvent, breathe fresh air and get medical
help. If solvent gets on hands, wash them.
If solvent gets in eyes, flush eyes with
f r e s h w a t e r a n d g e t m e d i c a l h e lp
immediately. Keep
fire extinguisher
nearby.

Clean external pipe threads of all fittings
with dry cleaning solvent.
Apply a thin, even coat of primer and then
sealing compound (Item 70) to cleaned exter-
nal pipe threads of all fittings. Do not apply
primer or sealing compound beyond small
end of threads.
Install adapter

78. Install fuel hose 13) in adapter body (1).
Secure with sleeve (4) and nut (5).
79. Install elbow (6) on coolant heater fuel
pump (2).
80. Install fuel hose (7) in elbow (6). Secure
with sleeve (8) and nut (9).
N O T E
Parts (10) through (17) are already in-
stalled if the electronic equipment heater
has been installed.

Disconnect fuel hose (10) from adapter body
(11) on personnel heater fuel pump (12).
Remove and retain adapter body (11) from
personnel heater fuel pump (12).
Install adapter body (13) on personnel
heater fuel pump (12).
Secure elbow (14) to adapter (13).
Install fuel hose (15) in elbow (14). Secure
with sleeve (16) and nut (17).
