Insert detent screw (33) with nut (32) installed, through washer (34) and into door plate (28) until threads of detent screw(33) bottom out. Do not tighten detent screw (33) or jam nut (32) yet.INSTALLATION1. Install extension (1) on plate (2) with two new lockwashers (3), washers (4), and new screws (5).2. Install handle (6) on extension (1) with two screws (7), new lockwashers (8), and washers (9).WARNINGArmor plates are heavy. Be sure to support plate properly to avoid injury to personnel.3.
