INITIAL SETUP: Maintenance Level Unit Tools and Special Tools General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0926 00, Item 65) Lifting Device rated at 200 lb (91 kg) minimum Personnel Required Unit Mechanic Helper References See your -10 Equipment Condition Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) REMOVAL WARNING Armor plates are heavy. Be sure to support plate properly to avoid injury to personnel. Use helper, lifting device, and support equipment as needed. NOTE Left and right armor/stowage boxes are replaced the same way. NOTE To remove stowage box, do Step 1; for side armor plate, do Step 2; for lower side plate, do Step 3; and for upper side plate, do Step 4. 1.
