TM 9-2350-277-20-4 REPLACE FLOOR PLATES (M981A3 ONLY) — Continued 0541 00 DISASSEMBLY 1. Remove four screws (1) and washers (2) from bracket (3). 2. Remove bracket (3) from floor assembly (4). 3. Remove grommet (5) from floor assembly (6). 4. Remove grommet (7) from floor assembly (4) or (6). Discard this grommet. 5. Remove grommet (8) from floor assembly (4). ASSEMBLY 1. Clean and prepare surfaces of floor assembly (4) or (6). 2. Apply bead of adhesive on surfaces of floor assembly (4) or (6) where new grommet (7) is being installed. 3. Apply light coat of adhesive to groove portion of grommet (7). 4. Allow adhesive to dry until tacky 5. Carefully insert grommet (5) in cutout portion of floor assembly (6) and press firmly into place. 6. Carefully insert new grommet (7) into cutout portion of floor assembly (4) or (6) and press firmly into place. 7. Wipe off excess sealant with clean, soft wiping rag. 0541 00-4
