Clean battery box andbattery box cover (see TM 9-6140-200-14).Clean battery box with dry cleaning solvent.Renew adhesive backing on insulation sheetswith dry cleaning solvent. Wait 10 to 20seconds until adhesive becomes tacky.Install insulation sheets (1, 2, 3, 4, and 5)and strip (6) in battery box (7).66.67.68.69.70.71.72.73.Install insulation sheet (8) on battery boxcover (9).Install two clamps (10) on heatexchanger (11).Install two grommets (12) and heatexchanger (11) in battery box (7).Remove two blank grommets from powerplant compartment. Discard grommets.Install two grommets (13) in power plantcompartment bulkhead.Connect coolant pump hose (14) and enginehose (15) to heat exchanger (11). Hosesmust go through grommets (13).Pull two hoses (14 and 15) through twogrommets (13) in personnel compartmentuntil hoses reach battery box (7).Install two insulation tubes (16) on twohoses (14 and 15) at rear of power plantcompartment.GO TO NEXT PAGE14-9
