If left final drive is to be removed, remove hull front access cover (page 24-24). Remove left final drive speedometer cable and adapter (page 11-17). Drain final drive (see your LO). W A R N I N G The final drive is heavy and can cause back injury if handled improperly. Be sure to use a hoist or a helper to remove final drive. Secure lifting bar (1) to final drive (2) with two sprocket mounting screws (3). Attach suitable lifting device of at least 165 lb (75 kg) capacity to lifting bar (1). 5. Remove 17 screws (4), washers (5), and final drive (2) from hull (6). GO TO NEXT PAGE 20-9
