Discard Iockwasher.3.Remove four screws (9) and voltage regulator (5) from four insulators (3).NOTERemove insulators only if damaged.4.Remove four screws (1), Iockwashers (2), and insulators (3) from rear of driver’s compartment wall. DiscardIockwashers.b.INSTALLATIONNOTEPerform step 1 only if insulators were removed.1.Install four insulators (3) on rear of driver’s compartment wall with four screws (1) and new Iockwashers (2).2.Install voltage regulator (5) on four insulators (3) with four screws (9).3.Install ground lead (8) on voltage regulator (5) with screw (6) and new Iockwasher (7).4.Connect two eletrical connectors (4) to voltage regulator (5).7-42
