INITIAL SETUP: Maintenance Level Unit Tools and Special Tools General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0926 00, Item 65) Materials/Parts Locknut (3) Personnel Required Unit Mechanic References See your -10 Equipment Condition Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Ramp lowered (see your -10) Driver’s power plant access panel removed (see your -10) Left front floor plate removed (WP 0453 00) REMOVAL NOTE There are two types of ramp control valves. One has an internal relief valve and the other has an external relief valve. The tube on the ramp control valve with external relief valve is attached to a tee fitting. The tube on the ramp control valve with internal relief valve is attached to an elbow fitting. 1. Remove three locknuts (1), screws (2), washers (3), and clamps (4) from power plant compartment bulkhead. Discard locknuts. 2. Remove clamps (4) from tube (5). 0664 00-1
