Install two elbows (1 and 2) in filter
assembly (3).
Install elbow (4) in elbow (l).
Connect oil hose (5) to elbow (2).
Connect oil hose (6) to elbow (4).
Install drain plug (7) in filter assembly (3).
Start engine

Carbon monoxide is poison-
ous and can kill you. Do not
idle engine with driver’s
power plant access panel
off unless there is VERY
GOOD AIR FLOW.
(see your -10). Check filter
leaks.
Stop engine (see your -10). Wait about
20 minutes for oil to drain back to pan.
Then check oil level. Add oil if needed
(see your LO).
FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS
1. Install driver’s power plant access panel
2. Raise and lock ramp (see your -10).
(page 24-25).
3. Stop/shutdown engine (see your -10).
