InstallationInitial Setup:Tools/Test Equipment:Equipment Conditions:l General mechanic’s tool kitj (Item 24,l Vehicle parked on level ground (refer toAppendix l)TM 9-2350-287-10).l MASTER switch set to OFF (refer toMaterials/Parts:TM 9-2350-287-10).l Electrical tape (Item 67, Appendix D)l Battery ground cables disconnectedl Gasket (Item 94, Appendix H)(para 7-41).l Lockwasher (2) (Item 177, Appendix H)Personnel Required: Twoa.REMOVAL1.2.3.4.CAUTIONBe careful not to drop spacerswhen removing right taillampassembly.Failure to heed thiscaution can result in damage totaillamp assembly.NOTETaillamp assembly does not have tobe removed to service light-emittingdiodes (LEDs).Remove four screws (8) and spacers (7) andcover plate (9) from hull.Disconnect two electrical leads (6) from wiringharness (5).NOTEAn assistant is needed whenremoving right taillamp assembly.Remove two screws (4), Iockwashers (3), andwashers (2) from hull. Discard Iockwashers.Remove taillamp assembly (1), grommet (10),and two electrical leads (6) from hull.7-97
