Removal of transmitter from hotengine will allow hot coolant to spurt from transmitter receptacle, possibly causingsevere burns.Disconnect lead 33A from electrical connector (1) of temperature transmitter (2).NOTECooling system coolant will drain from opening when transmitter is removed. Installreplacement transmitter immediately.Unscrew and remove temperature transmitter (2) from vehicle.INSTALLATIONApply Teflon pipe sealant to threads of temperature transmitter (2), and install temperature transmitter (2) invehicle.Connect lead 33A to electrical connector (1) of temperature transmitter (2).7-102
