Avoid contact with skin, eyes, andclothes, and DO NOT use near open flame or excessive heat.Clean all parts with drycleaning solvent.Inspect all parts for damage. Replace damaged parts as necessary.ASSEMBLYNOTE• Apply Teflon pipe sealant to all male pipe threads beforeinstallation.• Remove all caps and plugs blocking fuel lines and hoses.Install new filter element (21), new gasket (25), washer (23), and filter cover (24) on filter shell (20) with coverscrew (22).Install tee (4) and two elbows (2 and 9) on filter cover (24).Install and close drain cock (6) in filter shell (20).4-77
