ASSEMBLY
NOTE
There are two air cleaner box
assemblies. Assembly is the same for
both unless otherwise noted. Assembly
of right air cleaner box assembly is
shown.
Install new access door gasket (26) and new
gasket (25) on inside upper portion of air
cleaner (19).
Apply rubber adhesive to bulkhead surface
and new seal (33), and install seal (33) at vent
on bulkhead.
Install latch assembly (28) on air cleaner (19)
with eight screws (27).
N O T E -
Shouldered stud is found on left air cleaner box. Right air cleaner box has 10 screws.
Install new gasket (36) and box assembly (34) on air cleaner (19) with shouldered stud (32) and 10 screws
(31), new Iockwashers (30), and washers (29).
Connect baffle cable connector (35) to air cleaner clamp (37) on air cleaner (19).
Install new gasket (24) on air cleaner (19).
INSTALLATION

NOTE
An assistant is required when installing
air cleaners.
Right air cleaner must be installed first.
Both air cleaners are installed in the
same manner. Installation of right air
cleaner is shown.
Install air cleaner (19) and air cleaner duct (13)
in vehicle.
Connect pressure indicator hose (20) to adapter
(21) under left side of air cleaner duct (13).
