OIL SAMPLER SYSTEM REPLACEMENT (continued).b.1.2.3.4.5.6.7.8.9.INSTALLATIONNOTEApply Teflon antiseize tape to all male pipe threads prior to installation.Install two drain cocks (3 and 8) on mounting bracket (6). Tighten two nuts (2).Install elbow (1) on drain cock (3).Install adapter (9) on drain cock (8).Install mounting bracket (6) on transmission (7) with two screws (4) and new Iockwashers (5).Install elbow (14) on oil filter adapter (1 3).Connect hose (15) to two elbows (1 and 14).Secure hose (15) to transmission (7) withclamp (16), screw (18), and new Iockwasher (17).Install bushing (11) and adapter (12) in transmission (7).Install tube (19) at adapter (9) and adapter (1 2).Tighten two swivel nuts (10).FOLLOW-ON MAINTENANCE:• Close transmission access doors (refer to TM 9-2350-287-10).3-42
