INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE

Invert extinguisher (1) and open nozzle (2) to
release any remaining pressure or dust from
cartridge receiver (3) and hose (4).
Return extinguisher (1) to upright position.
Inspect visual inspection seal wire (5) for se-
curity.
Examine outer components for cleanliness and
corrosion or damage.

WARNING
Mechanical damage, evi-
dence of welding or corro-
sion constitute a potential
personnel hazard. Use ex-
treme caution when han-
fire fire extinguishers in
this condition. Replace if necessary.
Check exterior shell (6), cartridge guard (7),
cartridge receiver (3), hose (4), nozzle (2),
and hand assembly (8) for wear or other dis-
orders.
