TM 9-2350-261-34 REPLACE BLOWER MOTOR DESCRIPTIONThis task covers:Remove (page 14–60).Install (page 14-61).INITIAL SETUP Tools:References:Automotive Fuel and Electrical System RepairSee your -20Tool Kit (Item 7, App B)Wrench Kit (Item 106, App B)Equipment Conditions:Personnel Required:Fuel and Elec Sys Rep 63G10Engine coolant heater removed from carrier(see your -20)REMOVE1.2.3.4.5.Remove four screws (1) and guard (2) fromcoolant heater (3).Remove nut (4) and combustion tubeassembly (5) from coolant heater (3) andblower assembly (6).Disconnect blower assembly lead (7) fromterminal strap (8) terminal No. 6.Scribe a line on blower assembly (6) and oncoolant heater (3) for proper alignment.Loosen four nuts (9) and turn blowerassembly (6) to the left and remove blowerassembly from coolant heater (3).6.7.8.Remove seven screws (10), speed nuts (11),and cover (12) from blower plate (13).Loosen set screw (14) and remove fanvane (15) from motor (16).Remove three screws (17), spacers (18),grommets (19), and motor (16) from blowerplate (13).14-60
