NOTE
If you need to replace the engine,
transmission, or transfer gearcase, drain
the oil from each BEFORE power plant is
removed from carrier.
Cap or cover openings where fuel, oil, or
coolant lines or fittings have been
removed.
Remove two screws (1), locknuts (2), clamps
(3), and power plant wiring harness (4) from
cross–shaft bracket (5). Discard locknuts.
2. Remove screw (6), locknut (7) and governor
lever (8) from bracket (9). Discard locknut.
