Weargoggles and gloves. Do not breathevapors. Avoid contact with skin, eyes, andclothes. If you get dizzy while usingsolvent, breathe fresh air and get medicalhelp. If solvent gets on hands, wash them.If solvent gets in eyes, flush eyes withfresh water and get medical helpimmediately. Keep fire extinguishernearby.5. Clean shaft, universal joints, yoke, screwmounting holes and attaching hardware withdry cleaning solvent.CAUTIONEarly failure due to wear will occur if youwash lubricant out of universal jointbearings.6. Inspect shaft and universal joints for wear,deep scratches, grooves, and cracks. Removeminor scratches and grooves. Replace part ifdamage cannot be repaired.7. Inspect yoke for chipped, worn, and burredsplines. Remove minor scratches and burs.Replace yoke if damage cannot be repaired.8.
