pipes with bare hands. you
could get a bad burn.
N O T E
Muffler clamps are used on early exhaust
system only. If muffler clamp has to be
replaced, new exhaust pipes will need to
be ordered.
Step 1 is for the early system. Step 2 is for
the current system.
Loosen two manifold clamps (1) and two
muffler joint clamps (2).

Loosen two manifold clamps (1).
Remove exhaust pipes (3 and 4) from engine
manifolds (5 and 6) and muffler joint (7).
Separate exhaust pipe (3) from exhaust
pipe (4).
