The following steps apply to onecover.Remove two screws (1), lockwashers (2), flatwashers (3), and bracket (4) from cover (5).Discard lockwashers.Remove eight screws (6), lockwashers (7), flatwashers (8), cover (5), and gasket (9) fromfuel tank (10). Discard gasket andlockwashers.Remove drain plug (11) and bushing ( 12)from fuel tank ( 10).INSTALL4. Install cover (5) and new gasket (9) on fueltank (10). Secure with eight screws (6), newlockwashers (7), and flat washers (8).Tighten screws to 45-50 lb-ft (61-88 N•m)torque. Use torque wrench.5. Install bracket (4) on cover (5). Secure withtwo screws (1), new lockwashers (2), and flatwashers (3).6. Apply a coat of sealing compound to cleanedthreads of bushing (7. Install bushing (12)8.
