Install transverse beam (1) in carrier. H ave helper assist.2. Install screw (2), washer (3), washer (4), and shims (5) through base of transverse beam (1).3. Install two screws (6), washers (7), four washers (8), and new lock nuts (9). Torque screws to 25-30 lb-ft. (34-41 N•m).4. Install three screws (10), washers (11), and shims (12) on transverse beam (1).5. Install 14 washers (13), 7 screws (14), and nuts (15) to secure center of personnel seat (16) to transverse beam (1).FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS1. Install cab cover (WP 0418 00) or (WP 0456 00).2.
