They must be installed right to preventbushing deformation and lack of shock absorption. Install bushings as shown with tapered sidetoward gearcase.1. Place bushing (1) on stud (2) in carrier bulkhead.2. Position gearcase (3) on carrier bulkhead. Align bushing (1) and stud (2) in gearcase mounting hole and winch outputshaft (4) with spline in gearcase. Seat gearcase firmly against stud and shaft.3. Install bushing (5) on stud (2). Install washer (6) and new lock nut (7).4. Place yoke (8) on gearcase output shaft (9). Secure with shear pin (10) and two new cotter pins (11).5. Install pin (12) and new cotter pin (13) in yoke (8).6. Install screw (14) replaced by gearcase removal tool during removal.FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS1. Connect winch propeller shaft at transfer gearcase (WP 0412 00).2. Install cab center floor plate (WP 0394 00).3. Connect battery negative lead (WP 0292 00).END OF TASK0413 00-3/4 blank
