TM 9-2350-247-20-3REPLACE WINCH POWER TAKEOFF CONTROL (M548A1) — Continued 0414 004. Thread outer control cable (1) through power plant compartment and bulkhead. Secure control cable to compartmentfloor with clamp (10), washer (11), and screw (12).5. Place range selector in NEUTRAL (see your -10).6. Push inner control cable (13) through range selector housing (4) and winch control handle (14). Push winch controlhandle against range selector housing and turn handle a quarter turn to lock it. Tighten nut (2).7. Push power takeoff actuating lever (15) as far forward as it will go. Bend outer control cable (1) so you can put endthrough setscrew (16). Do not tighten setscrew.8. Install bracket (17) and nut (18) on screw (19). Tighten nut. Install and tighten jam nut (20).9. Tighten setscrew (16).FOLLOW THROUGH STEPS1. Install cab center floor plate (WP 0394 00).2. Connect battery negative lead (WP 0292 00).3. Install left grille (WP 0390 00).4. Lower center seat (see your -10).5. Install power plant rear access covers/door (see your -10).
