REPLACE PIVOT STEERING BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER (M548A1) -- Continued

INSTALLATION
1.
Install bellow (1) on master cylinder (2). Align shaft of master cylinder clevis (3) to master cylinder. Align three
mounting holes in master cylinder with three holes in pivot steering support (4). Secure master cylinder to pivot steering
support with three screws (5) and new lock nuts (6).
2.
Install new preformed packing (7) and elbow (8) on master cylinder (2).
3.
Install tube (9) and tube (10) on reducer (11). Install reducer on elbow (8). Secure with nut (12).
4.
Fill pivot steering hydraulic system (see your PMCS) (WP 0128 00).
5.
Bleed pivot steering brake control lines (WP 0370 00).
6.
Recheck fluid level in master cylinder (see your PMCS) (WP 0128 00).
FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS
1.
Start engine (see your -10).
2.
Check pivot steering brake system for proper operation.
3.
Stop engine (see your -10).
