l Lockwasher (4) (Item 173, Appendix H)
• Battery ground cables disconnected (para 7-41).

REMOVAL
WARNING
Wear eye protection and remove all jewelry,
dog tags, and metal items when performing this
procedure. Failure to follow these instructions
may result in injury or death to personnel.
1.
Remove nut (1), screw (7), cable 2B (2), STE/lCE lead
10-V (4), cable 81 (3), cable 62 (5), STE/lCE lead 10-R
(6), and cable 49 (8) from battery terminal (9).
