Tape, insulation, electrical (Item 67, Appendix D)
Battery ground cables disconnected (para 7-41).

REMOVAL
1.
Disconnect cable connector (2) from rectifier
assembly (1).
2.
Disconnect connector (3) from voltage regulator
(4).
3.
Disconnect
two
connectors
(6)
from
two
STE/ICE harness connectors (5).
4.
Remove terminal (7) and nut (9) from positive
post (8) of forward battery group.
5.
Remove terminal (11) and nut (12) from positive
post (10) of rear battery group.
6.
Remove rectifier-to-regulator wiring harness
12376406 from vehicle.
