6-12. BYPASS THERMOSTAT AND HOUSING ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT (continued).
9.
Install clamp (12), screw (10), and new Iockwasher (11) on manifold connector (3).
10.
Install clamp (4), screw (7), new Iockwasher (6), and washer (5) on manifold connector (3).
11.
Connect manifold connector (3) to crossover tube connector (2), and tighten two clamps (1).
FOLLOW-ON MAINTENANCE:
Remove radiator fan protectors (para 2-8).
Refill coolant system (refer to TM 9-2350-287-10).
Install front hull slope plate (para 15-11).
