Repair faulty wires or replace cable
E. 1. Reconnect cable assembly 12376406 to
voltage regulator and rectifier.
2. Disconnect harness 12268418-1 from
voltage regulator and from batteries.
3. Place one lead of multimeter on socket A
of harness 12268418-1 voltage regulator
connector and place other lead of multimeter
on wire 81 battery connector.
4. Repeat procedure for other wire 81 bat-
tery connector.
Is continuity indicated at both circuits?
Repair wire 81 or replace harness
12268418-1 (para 7-44). Verify
problem is solved.
Replace voltage regulator (para 7-
3). Verify problem is solved.
