Coolant heater and pump unit removed from carrier
(WP 0728 00)
REMOVAL
1.
Disconnect circuit 402B lead (1) from heater terminal strip (2).
2.
Remove elbow (3), bushing (4), and tee (5) from heater (6).
3.
Remove shut off valve (7) and bushing (8) from tee (5).
4.
Loosen clamp (9). Remove pump-to-heater hose (10) from elbow (11).
5.
Remove elbow (11) from heater (6).
6.
Loosen clamps (12). Remove heater (6) from bracket (13).
INSPECTION-ACCEPTANCE AND REJECTION CRITERIA
1.
Check coolant heater and components. See troubleshooting (WP 0089 00). Replace bad heater or components
(WP 0730 00) or (WP 0734 00).
