TM 9-2350-277-20-4 REPLACE/REPAIR RADIO OPERATOR’S SEAT (M981A3, M1068A3, AND M58 ONLY) — Continued 0568 00 NOTE If inspection shows that bushing (22) needs to be replaced, perform Step 9. Be careful. Do not damage seat when straightening ends. 9. Straighten ends and remove bushing (22) from seat (6). Discard bushing. 10. If locknut(s) (23) need to be replaced, drive out old locknut(s) from seat (6). Discard locknut(s). 11. Remove two locknuts (1), screws (2), washers (3), and rack (4) from support plate (5). Discard locknuts. 12. Remove four screws (6), locknuts (7), eight washers (8), and support plate (5) from tube (9). Discard locknuts. 13. Pull handle (10) and push tube (9) down to its lowest position. Hold rod (11) and remove locknut (12) and washer (13) from rod. Discard locknut. 0568 00-3
