TM 9-2350-277-20-4 REPLACE TORSION BAR ANCHOR — Continued 0414 00 NOTE Cotter pins must not prevent full 360 rotation of anchor pins. 2. Install new preformed packing (1) (3rd, 4th, and 5th anchors only), anchor (2), and two pins (4) in lugs on hull floor. Secure with two new cotter pins (5). Bend cotter pins as shown. Ensure pins (4) are free to rotate through 360 degrees. FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS 1. Install torsion bar (WP 0413 00). 2. Install power plant (if removed for 2nd right anchor only) (WP 0156 00). 3. Install road wheel (WP 0426 00). 4. Install track shroud and covers (WP 0438 00). 5. Unblock carrier (see your -10). 6. Start engine (see your -10). 7. Road test carrier to check that torsion bar anchor is installed properly (WP 0155 00). 8. Stop engine (see your -10). END OF TASK 0414 00-4
