TM 9-2350-277-20-4ADJUST RAMP LOCK (M113A3, M901A3, M981A3, AND M1059A3 ONLY) — Continued 0521 002. Check ramp-to-hull seal. Replace cracked, worn, or torn seal (WP 0514 00).3. If seal looks all right, apply a heavy coat of white chalk to sealing lip of ramp seal.4. Raise and lock ramp. Unlock and lower ramp (see your -10).5. Check ramp for chalk transfer from seal to ramp surface.6. If chalk is not evenly distributed, adjust ramp lock (Step 1).7. If there is no chalk along bottom of ramp or if no contact shows on bottom of ramp, replace seal (WP 0514 00).ADJUSTMENTRAMP LOCK ADJUSTMENTNOTEAll ramp adjustments must be done with the ramp down. Always adjust forward linkage first.1. Lower ramp (see your -10).2. Remove cotter pin (1) and headed pin (2) from clevis (3). Discard cotter pin.3. Disconnect clevis (3) from link (4).4. Swing ramp lock handle (5) forward. If catch (6) does not engage with striker (7), adjust catch (Step 5). If catch andstriker adjustment is all right, go to Step 7.NOTEInstall the same number of flat washers on each side of all four supports.5. To adjust catch (6) and striker (7), remove eight screws (8) and key washers (9) from four supports (10). Discard keywashers. Remove or add new flat washers (11), as required, to shim between supports (10) and hull top plate.0521 00-2
