TM 9-2350-277-20-4 REPAIR POWER PLANT DOOR — Continued 0472 00 ASSEMBLY 1. If removed, install new seal (1) on door (2). Bend seal support into place to hold seal. 2. Install nut (3) and screw (4) on door (2). 3. Install washer (5) and new packing (6) on handle (7). 4. Install key (8) on handle (7). Insert handle and key in door (2). Make sure key (8) and keyway in door are aligned. 5. Install washer (9), catch (10), nut (11), and new cotter pin (12) on handle (7). 6. Install brace (13) on door (2). Secure with screw (14) and new locknut (15). 7. Install shield (16) and vehicular leaf pins (17) on door (2). ADJUSTMENT 1. Adjust screw (4) until handle (7) rubs on head of screw. This adds slight detent action when opening or closing door (2). NOTE After door is installed on carrier, it may be necessary to add or remove washers until door locks securely on hull. FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS 1. Install power plant door on carrier (WP 0470 00) or (WP 0471 00) . END OF TASK 0472 00-2
