INITIAL SETUP: Maintenance Level Unit Tools and Special Tools General Mechanic’s Tool Kit (WP 0926 00, Item n5180001777033) Materials/Parts Preformed packing Personnel Required Unit Mechanic References See your -10 Equipment Condition Engine stopped (see your -10) Carrier blocked (see your -10) Transmission range controller removed (WP 0386 00) or (WP 0387 00) REMOVAL 1. Remove two wing screws (1) from cover (2) and back of range controller (3). Carefully pull cover away from range controller until lamp (4), filter (5), and shield (6) are accessible. 2. Loosen screw (7) and nut (8) until lamp (4), filter (5), and shield (6) can be removed from clamp (9). Remove filter, shield, and lamp. 3. Remove preformed packing (10) from lamp (4). Discard packing. 0388 00-1
