Ifthe side retaining strap fits flush against thelower fuel tank when installed, a pad is not re-quired. If a space exists between the tank and re-taining strap, a pad is required.DRemove fuel tank pads (3).INSTALLATIONClean pad mounting surfaces thoroughly to remove all residuefrom old pad and adhesives.Remove all paint from hull mounting surface.Apply adhesive (item 4, Appx B) to pad and mounting surfaceand let dry until tacky.
