Remove flat washers (29), bearing (30), flat washers (31),
and lock ring (32) from armature (33).
Remove armature (33) from motor field and frame assem-
bly (34).
Remove bearing (35), flat washer (36) and lock ring (37) from
armature (33).
Remove spring tension washer (38) and flat washer (39)
from motor field and frame assembly (34).
INSPECTION AND REPAIR
NOTE
Rebalance impeller after removing nicks.
A
Inspect impeller (5) for cracks. Replace if cracked.
B
Inspect impeller (5) for nicks. Remove nicks with soft stone
or fine mill file.
C
Inspect housing (24) for damage. Repair as appropriate.
D
Inspect housing (24) for damage due to impeller (5) rubbing.
Straighten housing or remove high spots as appropriate.
E
Inspect shaft key (6) for damage. Replace if damaged.
