Inspect bearing spacer (6) for smooth, flat and parallel ends,
and cracks or damage. Replace if ends not smooth, flat and
parallel, or if cracked or damaged.
I
Inspect retainer (8) for damage or defects. Replace if damaged
or defective.
J
Refer to TM 9-214 for inspection of outer sleeve bearing (7).
K Check OD (A) of bearing (7). OD (A) of new bearing is 5.2470-
5.2490 inches. Wear limit is 5.2450 inches.
L
Check ID (B) of bearing (7). ID (B) of new bearing is 4.2500.
4.2510 inches. Wear limit is 4.2520 inches.
M Check fit of bearing (7) in housing. New part fit is 0.0050
0.0090L. Wear limit is 0.0130L.
