TRANSFER AND DRIVE CONTROL ASSEMBLIES — OIL FILTER: REMOVAL, DISASSEMBLY,
INSTALLATION
REMOVAL
A Remove front slope plate (p 3-5 thru 3-8).
B Remove three screws and three lockwashers (1).
C Remove oil filter (2) by lifting up.
NOTE
If filter cannot be removed, insert two screws
(1) into puller screw holes (3) and lift out.
DISASSEMBLY
A Remove nut (1) from oil filter (2).
B
Separate filter element (2) and preformed packing (3) from
rod assembly (4).
C Discard filter element (2) and preformed packing (3).
ASSEMBLY
A Replace filter element (2) and preformed packing (3).
B Assemble oil filter in reverse order of disassembly.
INSTALLATION
Install oil filter in reverse order of removal.
