A

C
D
NOTE
The stall test is done to check performance of
the engine and transmission.
Check engine and transmission oil levels. Operate engine until
normal operating temperature of 170°F is reached. -
CAUTION
Do not stall engine for more than 15 seconds
or the transmission oil temperature will go
too high.
Lock brakes and put transmission in fourth gear. Run engine
at full throttle for 15 seconds.
If engine speed is below 1850 rpm, it indicates engine is not
operating properly. If fuel flow test (p 4-22) and linkage ad-
justments (p 7-46) are correct, notify Support Maintenance
that check of engine performance is required.
If engine speed exceeds 2075 rpm, check throttle linkage
(p 7-46). If correct, notify Support Maintenance to check for
slippage in transmission.
