Equipment Conditions:
Engine stopped/shutdom (see your -10)
REMOVE
1. Disconnect circuit 327 lead (1) from
transmission high oil temperature switch (2).
2. Remove switch (2) from tee (3).
CLEAN, INSPECT, AND REPAIR
3. Check threads on switch. Remove burrs.
Replace switch that has stripped threads.
INSTALL

Coat threads of switch (2) with sealing
compound.
Install switch (2) in tee (3). Tighten switch
to 240-264 lb-in (2734 Nm) torque. Use
torque wrench.
Connect circuit 327 lead (1) to switch (2).
FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS

Loose clothing is dangerous
around moving belts and
pulleys. You could get bad-
ly hurt if your clothes get
caught in moving parts.
1. Start engine to check for oil leaks at
transmission high oil temperature switch.
Stop/shutdown engine (see your -10).
2. Close power plant front access door and raise
trim vane (see your -10).
