Disconnect circuit 327 lead (1) fromtransmission high oil temperature switch (2).2. Remove switch (2) from tee (3).CLEAN, INSPECT, AND REPAIR3. Check threads on switch. Remove burrs.Replace switch that has stripped threads.INSTALL4.5.6.Coat threads of switch (2) with sealingcompound.Install switch (2) in tee (3). Tighten switchto 240-264 lb-in (27–34 N•m) torque. Usetorque wrench.Connect circuit 327 lead (1) to switch (2).FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS W A R N I NGLoose clothing is dangerousaround moving belts andpulleys. You could get bad-ly hurt if your clothes getcaught in moving parts.1. Start engine to check for oil leaks attransmission high oil temperature switch.Stop/shutdown engine (see your -10).2.
