Pull retainer (2)with lamp unit (3) away from lighthousing (4).Disconnect ground lead (5) and positive lead(7) from housing (4).Remove three retaining clips (6) and lampCLEAN, INSPECT, AND REPAIR 4. Check retainer and housing, replace blackoutheadlight if any part is missing or damaged(page 12-7).INSTALL5. Install new lamp unit (3) in retainer (2).Secure with three new retaining clips (6).6.7.Connect positive lead (7) and ground lead (5)to light housing (4).Install retainer (2) with lamp unit (3) andthree screws (1) on housing (4).FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS 1.
