1. Remove red stripe pressure transducer from secondary
fuel filter.
2. Check operation of engine shutoff cable (page 23-44).
3. Check restriction in air intake (page 23-44).
4. Check cold weather operation (see your -10).
5. If engine still does not start, notify direct support
maintenance.
6. Verify no faults found.
1. Remove red stripe pressure transducer from secondary
fuel
filter.

2. Connect fuel supply hose to secondary fuel filter.
3. Remove inlet plug (1) from secondary fuel filter (2), and
install red stripe pressure transducer (3) in inlet hole
(4) of filter
CAUTION
Pull fuel shutoff all the way out. Trans-
ducer will be damaged if engine starts.
4. Pull fuel shutoff all the way out.
5. Crank engine and read display.
6. Is fuel pressure greater than 4 psi?

Check engine fuel pump
(page 6-121).
Check generator field switch
(page 9-44).
In freezing temperatures,
check fuel lines for ice block-
age or coagulation of fuel.
Start engine (see your -10).
If engine still does not start,
repair blockage in fuel line.
Verify no faults found.
