TM 9-2350-261-10ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT HEATER KIT — M577A2 ONLY. Provides heat tothe communication equipment carried by a command post. This heater is anaddition to the personnel heater on all M577A2 carriers. Both heaters helpmaintain compartment temperature above +40°F (+4°C). This is necessary for theelectronic equipment. The heater is mounted on the underside of the right frontcommunication rack. An elbow directs the air flow toward the equipment. Theheater intake air is drawn from outside. The exhaust is vented through the topdeck. The heater control box, mounted next to-the heater, has a three-position RUN-OFF-START switch, HI-LO switch, and indicator light.1-41
