TM 9-2350-247-34REPLACE ENGINE THERMOSTAT (M548A3) — Continued 0013 002. Loosen clamp (3) that secures thermostat vent hose (4) to elbow (5). Separate hose and clamp from elbow.3. Loosen two clamps (6) that secure hose (7) to deaeration elbow (8) and tube (9). Slide hose and clamps off deaerationtube.4. Loosen two clamps (10) that secure hose (11) to right thermostat housing (12). Separate hose from thermostat housing.5. Remove four screws (13), lock washers (14), and flat washers (15) that secure right thermostat housing (12) and leftthermostat housing (16). Discard lock washers.6. Remove seal (17), gasket (18), and thermostat (19) from left thermostat housing (16). Discard seal and gasket.CLEANING1. Clean thermostat housing with cleaning compound.0013 00-2
