WARNING
NBC agents can kill you. Do not service air cleaner or vent system after NBC attack until
carrier has been decontaminated and filters disposed of by NBC team. Unit commander or
officer in charge must assign NBC team to decontaminate system and dispose of filters. Unit
commander or officer in charge must prescribe necessary protective clothing and safety
measures for NBC team.
NOTE
Procedures to remove, repair, and install orifice connectors and brackets are the same for all
five orifice connectors.
NOTE
Typically, the M548A3 carrier will only have four NBC stations. Converted M730A2 vehicles
have five NBC stations.

Locate five orifice connectors (1) in carrier.
