REPLACE WIRE ROPE, HOOK, AND CHAIN (M548A1) — Continued

INSTALLATION
1.
Install bolt (1) through clevis (2) and hook and chain (3). Secure with nut (4).
2.
Turn winch drum until mounting hole in drum is on top.
WARNING
Wear leather gloves when handling wire rope. Broken wires can rip your hands open.
3.
Push wire rope (5) through mounting hole as far as it will go. Install and tighten screw (6).
4.
Lube wire rope (WP 0128 00).
FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS
1.
Connect battery negative lead (WP 0292 00).
2.
Start engine (see your -10).
3.
Reel in wire rope (see your -10). Have helper assist.
4.
Stop engine (see your -10).
