INSPECTION-ACCEPTANCE AND REJECTION CRITERIA
1.
Inspect screw ends for damaged threads and turnbuckle and jam nut for dents and cracks. Replace turnbuckle assembly
that shows any of these defects.
INSTALLATION
1.
Position eyebolt (1) of turnbuckle (2) end on generator (3) and secure with two washers (4), spacer (5), washer (6), and
screw (7).
2.
Position other eyebolt (8) of turnbuckle (2) end on shoulder pin (9) and secure with washer (10) and new cotter pin (11).
3.
Loosen two generator mounting screws (12) and rotate turnbuckle (2) until drive belt deflection is 0.19-0.25 in (4.8-6.4
mm). Use V-belt tensiometer with a force of 15-17 lb (6.81-7.72 kg) and straight edge spanning both pulleys. Tighten
jam nut (13) on turnbuckle (2).

FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS
1.
Install power plant rear access panel (see your -10).
