INSTALLATION
WARNING
Adhesive, primer, sealant compounds, and isopropyl alcohol are toxic and flammable. These
compounds are toxic to eyes, skin, and respiratory tract. Continued exposure can make you
dizzy and irritate your eyes and throat.
Always use in well ventilated areas, away from heat, sparks, and flames. Do not breathe fumes.
Do not allow into contact with skin and eyes. Use goggles or face shield and protective gloves.

If replacement filters are to be installed, clean elbows, tees, and plugs and apply a light coat of sealing compound to
external tapered threads and install on replacement filters.

If secondary filter replacement is to be installed, connect elbow and hose assembly to replacement.

Place primary filter cover (2) and secondary filter cover (3) on bracket (4) and secure with two screws (5), washers
(6), new lock washers (7), and lock nuts (8).

Install tee (9), elbow (10), and fuel pressure switch (11) on secondary filter cover and attach electrical connector (12) to
switch.

Connect engine fuel pump-to-filter hose (13) to tee (9) on top of filter.

If removed, install secondary fuel filter guard bracket (14), with two screws (5), washers (6), lock washers (7) and two
new lock nuts (8).
