REMOVAL
1.
Remove 10 lock nuts (1), 20 washers (2), and 10 screws (3) and separate air cleaner (4) from duct assembly (5). Discard
lock nuts.
2.
Remove two lock nuts (6), four washers (7), two screws (8), and mounting bracket (9) from duct assembly (5). Discard
lock nuts.
3.
Remove damper lever screw (10).
4.
Loosen clamp screw and remove flexible duct (11) from inlet duct (12).
5.
Remove two screws (13), washers (7), and lock washers (14) from inlet duct (12). Discard lock washers.
6.
Remove four lock nuts (6), eight washers (7), and four screws (15) from the upper end of inlet duct (12) and remove inlet
duct and screen (16). Discard lock nuts.
INSPECTION-ACCEPTANCE AND REJECTION CRITERIA
1.
Inspect duct and case for dents, holes, cracks, or deformation. Straighten deformations and dents and weld cracks and
small holes as required. Replace duct if defects cannot be repaired.
2.
Inspect screens for tears. Repair or replace torn screens.
3.
Inspect operation of damper from full open to full closed positions. Replace defective parts if damper binds or is
distorted.
