Tools/Test Equipment: • General mechanic’s tool kit (Item 24, Appendix I) • STE/lCE test set (Item 65, Appendix I) A. 1. Connect DCA cable W1 connector P1 to VTM connector J1. 2. Connect DCA cable W1 to harness 12329996 connector at DCA receptacle in driver's compart- ment. 3. Push power switch on VTM to ON position. 4. Do confidence test 66/99 (para 2-22.a(1)). 5. Dial 60 into TEST SELECT. 6. Press and release TEST button. Message “VEH” should be displayed on the VTM. 7. Enter the vehicle ID number 11. 8. Enter 67intoTEST SELECT, then press TEST button to check static voltage. Is static voltage at least 22 volts? test 73 (para 2-22.b(3), and test 89 (para 2- 22. b(20). B. 1.
